Guest Blog & Giveaway: Blood of Anteros ~ Georgia Cates

Hosted by Bewitching Books Tours, today the lovely Georgia Cates will Guest Blog today. She'll be talking her book Blood of Anteros, music and much more.

I’ve been asked countless times where I get my ideas. I am a huge music head, so a lot of the events between characters originate from music. There is rarely a time when I’m not listening to music and I have a huge playlist that plays the entire time I write.

My jams are my muse and anchor. When you read a “scene” with a highly charged emotion, odds are good there was a song that went along with it. When I hear an inspiring song, I listen to it over and over as I see the scene of the book playing out in my head, like a movie.

This is a limited Playlist for Blood of Anteros because you would find it ridiculous if I listed all of them. I have included the scene I associated with the particular song and hopefully, you will find some new favorites, along with a better understanding of events between Curry and Chansey.

1) Never Say Never- The Fray
As Curry is about to leave Pascagoula.

2) Look After You- The Fray
Curry’s decision to stay out of sight, but close enough to watch over Chansey.

3) Let It Go- Fauxliage
Chansey’s battle with wondering if Curry wants her the way she wants him.
(This is probably one of the most emotionally charged songs I listened to while writing Blood of Anteros)

4) Memories- Within Temptation
Chansey’s way of dealing of the absence of Curry.

5) Forgiven- Within Temptation
Chansey’s feelings toward Curry once she discovers what he is and the reason behind the things he did.

6) Here Without You-3 Doors Down
Curry misery of being without Chansey.

7) One Moment More- Mindy Smith
The morning Chansey wakes to find Curry next to her in bed.

8) Times Infinity- Mexicolas
Curry’s emotions when he realizes he loves Chansey.

9) Strange- Tokio Hotel & Kerli
Curry’s feelings of inferiority as he looks at the lovely Chansey and her life.

10) Need- Hana Pestle
Chansey’s emotions after Curry is gone.

11) Pieces- Red
How Chansey heals Curry’s damaged heart.

12) Never Be the Same- Red
Curry realizes he will never be the same after he has loved Chansey.

Book Blurb

His life began deep within the mountains of North Carolina. Edward Caulfield was a dedicated craftsman who appreciated the finer things in his life. As a young man he fell deeply in love and married a beautiful young woman he did not want to live without.
Fate took her from him early in his marriage and he lived the rest of his life as a shrine to her.
In the twilight of his years he met a troubled young woman and their relationship turned the tide for them both.
In his efforts to help her, their lives were changed forever learning from each other.
In a world filled with romance, deceit, and sorrow Edward left her a legacy fulfilled with the promise of finding, “The Perfect Rose.”

My Review

Almost like an paranormal Tuesdays with Morrie, we have Edward who in his old age live with his companion Betty in a cottage not to far from the house he lived in with his beloved wife who was take from him way to early. Throughout story Edward reflects on his life with his beloved Ceclia with his new friend Lena .
Lena introduces herself to Edward after she realizes she's been trespassing on his property for the last couple of months. She's not very happy with her life and Edward proves to be the friend that she needs in more ways than one.

This was a sweet story of a love that never died, friendship that was strong even there was a great difference in the ages of Edward and Lena, they were just want the other needed. I was taken away by the beauty of the story and the strong friendship that developed between Lena and Edward. This was a very enjoyable story.

My Review

Book two the Grey Wolves Series, the story starts off with Jacque preparing for her's and Finn's bonding ceremony. Okay, so I didn't read the first book in the series, but the story was easy to catch up on and I enjoyed it very much. There was laughter and adventure and Quinn Loftis has a new fan. A quick and fun read, if you are a fan of YA, you'll fall in love with the characters and the world of wolves and this author has created.

Holding on to Heaven is a story of love between two men and a woman, love between siblings, and love that crosses all boundaries and forges all cultures.

* * *

Setup – The Dakota Sioux are on the warpath. Lauren watches from the upstairs window as they ride into the yard at Full Circle.

* * *
Lauren pressed her eyes together against the blinding beams of sunlight and drew the damask curtains closed. She plucked a pair of leather riding pants from the top shelf of her armoire, grabbed a tan cotton blouse from the dowel and shucked her dress. The ensemble would be hotter than the light cotton shift, but she felt obligated to fulfill her promise to Uncle Mason to ride out to the south pasture and round up a mare.
"Damn beasts," she muttered to the ceiling.
A flash of disgust crossed Nelly's eyes while she rocked little Finn in her arms. "Ladies doan be swearin'. An' what is ya all riled up 'bout now?"
"One of the mares is determined to foal beneath a blazing sun. Uncle Mason doesn't care where she has the young one as long as he doesn't have to assist in this scorching heat."
"If'n the fool want to have her baby outside, let her." Nelly returned to crooning a lullaby to Lauren's son.

The po' old slave has gone to rest,
We know that he is free.
His bones they lie beneath his breast,
Way down in Tennessee.

Nostalgia flooded Lauren. Nelly's mother, Daphne, had sung the same words to her as a toddler. About to leave the room, she pulled the knee-length boots over her calf when loud voices from the yard stopped her in mid-stride. She pulled the draperies back and glanced to the porch.
Her uncle crossed his arms; his face was redder than a beet. "You best be on your way; we want no trouble here."
Lauren's gaze drifted to Aunt Estelle while she inched her way toward her husband. She looked beyond them and realized why panic etched her aunt's refined features. Five warriors had ridden into the yard, their faces painted in garish shades of red, yellow and black. Shouts in the Dakota tongue shattered the quiet morning.
Her stomach pitched violently and her lower lip quivered with rage when a savage raised his rifle and delivered a bullet to Uncle Mason's chest. A sickening thud echoed in her ears the moment he hit the floor of the porch.
"No-o-o!" screamed Estelle.
Another shot exploded from a nearby rifle and Lauren's knees buckled. Her aunt teetered for a moment and then collapsed on top of her husband. A flurry of activity broke out on the ground. War cries split the air when the leader slipped from his horse, yanked the tomahawk from his waistband and crept toward her loved ones with the nimble grace of a cougar.
Hank ran from the barn with his rifle aimed at the red man's chest. He died where he fell; shot from behind by a brave near the corral. Justus met a similar fate when a hatchet—thrown with deadly accuracy—landed between his shoulder blades. Paralyzed with fear, Lauren retched when the enemy slid from his horse and finished the job with his scalping knife.
"Lawdy, Lauren, who be doin' all that hollerin'?"
Choking back the bile in her throat, she dragged her gaze from the window and turned to Nelly. "Take Finn and hide. Don't come out, no matter what happens."
"Who down there?" Nelly's round eyes grew whiter than cotton bolls.
"Never mind about that now. Do as I say, and quickly!"
Lauren fled from the room like a woman gone mad and bounded down the steps three at a time. Upon reaching the porch, she ran to her aunt and uncle and knelt beside them. "No! This can't be happening! Aunt Estelle!"
High-pitched shrieks reached her ears as the Indians pranced their ponies around the yard; the bloody scalps dangling from their spears. The leader stood at the top of the porch steps, his obsidian eyes hard and cruel; his face impassive. Lauren rose to her feet, head up, chin out, and faced him.
Dressed in caramel buckskin pants and high-top moccasins, he struck a terrifying pose. A dark blue vest covered his torso, adorned with beads in the shape of an oak tree and acorns. A breechclout of the same fabric hung from his narrow waist, and over his right shoulder, a pouch made of buckskin and porcupine quills danced beneath the glare of the sun. Three black and white feathers stuck out from behind his left ear, lying flat against his shiny black hair. His features strong and fierce, his dark eyes pierced her with a sinister look.
She glanced to the rifle propped against his left shoulder―the one he used moments ago to kill Mason and Estelle.
Their eyes locked again, and while she trembled beneath his bold perusal, he remained as stoic as a marble statue. With a flick of his wrist, he set his warriors into motion. Racing toward the outbuildings, they lit the torches in their hands, their bloodcurdling screams nearly bringing Lauren to her knees.
The hostile looked down at her aunt and uncle before capturing her gaze again. Although terrified of the hatchet he held in the air, she stepped in front of Estelle and Mason's bodies; refusing to surrender to mutilation of her loved ones. A brief flicker of admiration passed through his ebony eyes before he lowered the hatchet and gave a brief nod.

About Keta Diablo

Keta lives in the Midwest portion of the country on six acres of beautiful woodland. Here, she communes with nature; eagles, owls and loons (the winged version). There's a lovely environmental lake on her property named after a famous Native American chief, and the locals insist burial grounds from 150 years ago exist in her woods. Hmm. Maybe it's not always the wind she hears howling at night.

When Keta isn't writing she loves to read and garden and spends far too much time at the local animal shelter trying to wrangle a way to adopt them all. Two years ago she adopted Emma LaPounce, a mid-life feline who was in crisis when her long-time owners moved out of town, took their furniture but left her behind. Go figure! Hours before Emma was to journey to the other world, Keta adopted her, and now she runs the entire darn house.

You can find her sitting outside in the summer months with her muse plotting her next book.

Keta writes erotic romance and gay fiction for multi-publishers (too many). You can find out more about Keta and her books at her website. Sign up for her monthly newsletter to be eligible to win books she gives away every month. Also go toKeta's Keep and follow her on Twitter.

A HELLSBANE BOOK - Book One - by Paige Cuccaro

Emma Jane Hellsbane just found out she’s not human—or, at least, not only human. She’s half angel, too, and now Heaven’s got a job for her: round up all the Fallen angels and their red-skinned, horned devil-demon minions and boot their butts back into the abyss. Only problem? The demons and their Fallen masters fight back…and they don’t fight fair.

Luckily for Emma, she can put a stop to the constant threat of having her head hacked off if she figures out which Fallen angel is her father—and then kill him before he kills her. Of course, in the meantime, she’ll have to avoid accidentally seducing her angelic mentor, help an old friend conquer his own Fallen sperm donor, and basically save the world from a cataclysmic divine smack down.

No one said being Heaven’s bounty hunter would be easy. But with a name like Hellsbane, Emma Jane was born for the job.

Book Excerpt
“So you’ve been doing this, hunting demons, since high school?”
“Demons and the fallen angels who called them up to do their bidding.” He exhaled, as though suddenly feeling the weight of the past eight years. “I tried to forget. Tried to pretend it didn’t happen. But they wouldn’t let me. They kept hounding me, bugging me to fight.”
“No. Angels,” he said. “The ones that will talk to us...incessantly. They’re called magisters. They wanted me to train. To pick up the fight where Coach Clark left off. I didn’t want to. I didn’t know what it meant. So I ran. It was six years before I saw my parents again. They’d thought I was dead. Wanted me to move back home. But I couldn’t. I couldn’t expose them to the kind of life I had.”
“They don’t know?”
He shook his head. “They’d never believe me if I tried to explain anyway. They’re safer this way.”
“Must be nice.” He couldn’t have given me the same protection?
Tommy looked away. “If there’d been anywhere else safe I could’ve gone today, I swear...”
He looked at me, and I could see in his eyes he meant it. He hated what he’d gotten me mixed up in. Trouble was, I still wasn’t sure exactly what that was.
“What do they want, the demons? Why are they trying to kill you?”
“Us.” He winced, hugging his arm around his belly, holding his side. “They’ll be after you now, too. And they want us dead. They want to kill us before we kill them and send their fallen masters to the abyss.”
I laughed. Not because I thought anything was particularly funny, but because my brain had finally reached its capacity to accept the unacceptable, and no other reaction occurred to me. “You know how insane this all sounds, right? This can’t be for real. It can’t be. I mean, I don’t even believe in this God and angel junk.”
“Yeah?” He sucked in a sharp breath and used the doorjamb to leverage himself up to his feet, holding his side. After a second or two, he straightened. “Well, you’re about to become a believer, real quick.”
“You can’t make me.” Geez, I sounded like an eight-year-old.
“That’s what I thought. And then the demons came, and came, and came. And Eli kept dogging me, saying I had to train.” He stepped around me on his way to the door, limping, moving slower than he had when he’d come in. “The demons can find you anywhere, Emma Jane. They feel you the way you and I can feel each other when we first come together. You know, the way your stomach rolls?”
“The rollercoaster thing? You feel that too?”
He smiled his star-jock smile. “Yeah. I feel it, too. That’s how I knew you were nephilim in high school. I felt it. Felt it around Coach Clark, too. ’Course, I didn’t know what it was until Eli explained it. Before that it was kind of...confusing.”
“That explains a lot,” I said. “Who’s Eli?”
He turned and opened the door. “Eli will keep you alive. Unfortunately, if I don’t get to some holy water soon, I won’t survive to introduce you.”

My review to be posted soon.

Author Interview: Louisa Bacio

Hi All,

Hosted by Bewitching Book Tours. Today we have the wonderfully talented Louisa Bacio with us today. She'll be talking about her books in the Vampire The Witch and The Werewolf series.

I've read both books and they are awesome.

Blurb - The Vampire The Witch and the Werewolf

Haunted by paranormal abilities that she can’t control, and plagued by nightmares about a demon that seeks her soul, Lily Anima travels to New Orleans in search of salvation.

In the French Quarter, Lily dives into the paranormal world and enlists the help of an unlikely couple: a vampire, Lawrence Justice, and a werewolf, Trevor Pack.

As the trio encounters ghosts, voodoo and unspeakable evil, will Trevor and Lawrence be able to help Lily turn her powers into a gift rather than a curse? And when Lily discovers that she needs to lose her virginity in order to embrace her powers and get the demon off her back, will the twosome be able to survive as a threesome?

Blurb - Chains of Silver

Adopted at birth, Silver Ashe discovers her blood-brother Trevor Pack is a werewolf, with a vampire and witch for lovers. All her teachings about the evils of the paranormal Others come into question. She runs to a family friend, Nick, for help.

Nick Stake takes his hobby as a vampire hunter personally. He strives to rid the world of evil bloodsuckers. When his best friend’s “kid” sister comes to him for advice, Nick discovers Silver’s more than grown up. He battles his growing desire for Silver and blindly holds true to his convictions.

Once Silver reaches her sexual maturity, she’ll inherit her full genetic heritage and turn into a werewolf. When death comes calling, Silver and Nick must face their darkest fears in order to break free from the chains that bind

The Interview

Tell us a little about yourself?

Hmmm … what’s to tell? Some people who know me often comment that they can’t believe I write that “stuff.” I’m basically shy, but have put myself in situations where I can’t really be: interviewing rock bands, teaching college, being an erotic writer ;-) But, I’m also a mom, a wife and make dinner just about every night. It’s just when everyone goes to sleep that the writer gets to come out!

When did you pen your first book?

Ah, I’ve started many books over the years. I’ve been published in non-fiction and short story form, but I didn’t finish my first book until Sex University: Physical Education was contracted in 2010. After spending my entire career working on deadline, that extra push gave me the required incentive.

Whom and what inspired you to write?

I’ve been fortunate to find my passion for writing from an early age. I was writing poetry as early as I can remember, and pursued yearbook, newspaper and journalism throughout school. After college, I worked professionally for newspapers and magazines. I’ve always done it, and it’s wonderful to be able to write fiction now, too.

I love the idea of an ménage between two men and a woman especially with the men being bi. It's very different than the ménage I generally read. This wonderfully wicked concept was developed how?

Now I’m curious about the types of ménages that you read. Is it Stacey Espino who does the hot & heavy cowboy books that often are three brothers to one heroine, and all the focus is on woman? (BTW – I read her, too!). When I started the series, my agent basically “dared” me and said that she wanted to see how I got the vampire and werewolf together. Easiest way: They’re already an established couple! I’ve been told that the m/m/f is the most popular ménage books. That said, I also have an idea for a f/f/m in my Sex University series.

In both your books, one of the main characters grew up in the foster care system. Why?

Partially, the storyline deals with plot points in a novel, and partially it comes from my own life (I think). Would it be as easy for Lily to pick up and move from California to New Orleans if she had a strong, structured family? Probably not. When doing their character motivations, it goes back to what they want, and what are they seeking. Also, what’s been missing in their lives.

Subconsciously, while I have a wonderful, supportive extended family, my mother died a week after I turned 14. I understand that sense of loss, of wanting to know more about yourself. And, she also was adopted. Often, we judge ourselves by our family, and without that connection … it can be more difficult. So those issues probably haunt me, and surface through the writing.

Also in both books, your female characters started off very shy, almost reserved. But grew into their own throughout their perspective stories. Any reason for this?

Strong female characters draw me. My (step)mom always talked down on the female “victim” that’s often portrayed in movies. Both Lily and Silver start off being more “weak” because they seem to not have any power over their lives. But, once they come into their own … they gain that needed self-confidence and realize that they can control their destiny.

New Orleans seems to be the hotspot for paranormal characters to be written in. What is about this state that beckoned you to place your characters in?

Before I visited New Orleans for the first time in October 2010, I knew that I wanted to base this story there. Afterward, it simply felt right. It’s a magical place, and possesses such a diverse history. And, one can easily believe that the paranormal can live there … among the humans.

Can you give us a little background on your characters? What makes them them in other words?

We all are made up of our pasts. That’s an obvious answer, but I teach pop culture, and talk about enculturation – that process of creating one’s culture. To go back to your previous question – all the characters are affected by loss in their lives, even Nick in Chains of Silver. These books somewhat focus on that journey of finding themselves, and making them feel whole/complete.

I absolutely love Lawrence (Law). He's a very sexxy vamp. All refined and gorgeous. Whose your favorite character and why?

Lawrence has a rich backstory, and we’ll probably learn more about him as he’s willing. I mean, he was turned 150 years ago! That’s a lot of time not explored. I’ve got a free read about the ghosts that inhabit Pages that I’ll fine tune and release (someday!), and that’ll give much more insight into him. Really, in some ways I feel like I’m telling their tales as they’re told to me … might sound wacky but it works.

Right now my favorite character is Silver. Her and Nick’s story pursued me. Nick’s a fascinating character, and he has some hardships ahead of him (without giving away too much from Chains of Silver). Since Silver is so young – 18 – she’s got a lot of growing up to do.

Will we be reading more of these characters and this world you created? Because I gotta tell you, I'm hooked :)

Of course! Honestly because I’m hooked, too! Very soon my publisher Ravenous Romance will release a special holiday treat – the novella The Vampire & The Werewolf: A New Orleans Christmas. I’ve had a few people request to read Law and Trevor’s story, so I’m listening. I just saw the cover today: gorgeous!
Also, right now I’m working on book 3, The Voodoo King, which should release Spring 2012.

Thank you so much for having me here! I truly appreciate the insightful questions.

She's awesome right?!!!

Review: Greys Lady by Natasha Blackthorne

Hi All,

Another seriously hot read. Check out my review of Grey's Lady

Book Blurb:

Seeking sexual excitement and conquest, poor but beautiful Beth seduces wealthy merchant prince Grey Sexton, only to find herself the pursued as he seeks to own her body and soul.

Flouting the moral standards of Jeffersonian America, temptress Beth McConnell lets no man touch her heart. Her motto is love them once and leave them burning.

But when she boldly seduces Grey Sexton, a self-controlled merchant prince from New York, she finds herself too fascinated by his ice-over-fire nature to stay away. His possessive determination to own her, body and soul, threatens to expose her secret erotic life to public shame.

But Beth will only surrender her love to a man she can trust. And Grey's materialistic approach to relationships leaves her little reason to believe he can ever give her what she truly needs.

For these two cynical yet lonely people, can deep sexual intimacy work a miracle and lead to the opening of their hearts?

My Review:

Beth, for a woman of her time was strong and she just wasn't going to bend to Grey's controlling ways. She gave her heart away before and this time she refuse to be hurt again. So her motto is hurt them before they hurt you. Ah, but Grey is a different man and Beth is falling for this gentleman head on.

Grey is a man who is use to having his way, but he meets his match in Beth. She test his patience and control. She's not the type of LADY his usually deals with and with every passing moment they spend together, those carefully built walks he has built up are falling more and more.

The sexxy little novella was just to good. I loved the story and the historical setting it took place in. There was a battle of stubbornness going on between Grey and Beth and I love every single bit of it. I had to wonder for a minute if both were going to loose and this story was going to have a very unhappy ending. But thank the stars it didn't, whew!

A must read Ladies. You will enjoy it hands down.

Guest Character Interview: Agremon Dishes about his Charming Self

Please pardon the following blog post. I was going to write something completely different, but Agremon busted into my office and snatched my computer! Before I had a chance to get it back, he’d already written this and locked it so I can’t change it. Silly demon… doesn’t he realize I can write him out of a storyline? ~ Deena Remiel

Agremon Dishes About His Charming Self

By Agremon the Terrible

I’m gonna lay it on the line for all of you right now. If you wanna live, don’t mess with me. They call me Agremon, The Terrible, and I live up to that reputation. Don’t piss me off, don’t look at me funny, and don’t even breathe in my direction. I WILL come to you in your dreams and scare you literally to death. You’ve been warned.

Why am I such a delightful fellow? You try spending eternity being scorned by The Brethren and sucking up to Satan every freakin’ day. He has me running around his cult compound like I’m some grunt or slave. Okay, so I am his henchman, but where are the perks he promised me, I ask you? And now Satan… oh excuse me, he’s calling himself Namirha these days, is on my butt to find this kid he thinks is the answer to his gaining ultimate power over the world. Yawn. I’ve got something else in mind for her, but if I tell ya, I’ll have to kill ya. Now that doesn’t sound so bad come to think of it.

I guess I’m supposed to be talking about TRINITY, A Brethren Novel, but really, why would I want to acknowledge the Brethrens’ immortal existence when I’m more appealing and immortal, too? All right! So they look prettier than me. And women swoon over them. I used to look like them… once. Before I gained immeasurable power, that is. I’d much rather look like I do now. I scare the crap out of people and that suits me just fine. Not sure if it’s my razor sharp needle-like teeth, or the thorny protrusions all over my body that does it. It could be my charming personality. Whatever kills them, though, it’s all good to me.

Hey, I know you. You like sarcasm, a sharp wit, and bad demons. I come by all that naturally. When others are dying for Michael and Raphael trading cards, you’ll be clamoring for one of ME! Embrace your inner demon… start an Agremon fan club in your neighborhood. I promise to give you anything your measly, human heart desires. Now, get the hell out of here! You’ve wasted enough my time! Hell, I guess I should tell you to read Trinity, A Brethren Novel. But NOT for the Brethren! Read it because I’M in it!

My Review:

Sexxy Erotic novella. I LIKED it a whole lot. When she says there is sex on pretty much ever page, that's is no lie. Johnny is the lead singer in a all girl band and this summer, he gets to taste every member and then some. There was little of everything going on this short little read and I kept thinking that I need to get to the hubby real quickly...that ladies is how smoking hot the sex was in this one...lord, I needed a cold shower every time I read a page.

“On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me
A boat cruise on a blue sea.

On the second day of Christmas my true love gave to me
Sexy lingerie and a boat cruise on a blue sea.

On the third day of Christmas my true love gave to me
A steamy romance novel, sexy lingerie and a boat cruise on a blue sea.

On the fourth day of Christmas my true love gave to me
Champagne in a bottle, steamy romance novel, sexy lingerie
And a boat cruise on a blue sea.

On the fifth day of Christmas my true love gave to me
Five diamond rings!!!!
Champagne in a bottle, steamy romance novel, sexy lingerie
And a boat cruise on a blue sea…”

Now go sing this for your partner.  You never know, you may get some or all of the above.

Happy holidays!

Hot Summer
By Judy Powell

Genre: sizzling romance

A hot-tempered spitfire and a strong-willed, arrogant man – put them together and sparks fly!

After her first embarrassing encounter Summer Jones vows to stay away from suave, sexy and oh, so arrogant Lance Munroe.  But then she ends up working for the man.  Her quick temper and sharp tongue keep landing her in hot water with him but no matter how hard she tries she can’t deny her growing attraction for him.  Then they go on a business trip to Jamaica – and that’s when things get really hot.

Lance is intrigued  by the feisty woman who practically tells him off  the first time they meet.  When they begin working together he realizes how much he enjoys the challenge of taming the little tigress.  But, before he knows it, he’s the one caught in the snare of passion.  The tables are turned – the tigress has tamed the lion.

For a sizzling romance, follow Summer and Lance from Chicago to Jamaica and be swept away in the thrill of their hot summer.

Summer’s breath came in shallow gasps as she sat still, not feeling she could move even if she wanted to. She was like a bird frozen in the mesmerizing stare of a snake, knowing it was about to be eaten alive but not able to make a move to save its own life.

She moaned and closed her eyes as his lips stroked the sensitive skin then moved to the base of her throat where he licked softly and gently. She didn’t realize that she was still clutching the handkerchief tightly in her hand until she felt his strong fingers pry hers open to pull it away so that he could seduce her palm with his thumb.

“Relax, baby.” He moved his lips up her neck and to her ear.  “You’re so tense. Just relax.”

As he spoke he pushed her back gently into the plush pillows and began to nibble her ear lobe. He gave a lick just behind her ear and shock waves ran down her spine.

“Oh, God,” she breathed, “what are you doing to me?”

“What someone should have done to you a long time ago, Summer Jones,” he whispered.  “Teach you what it means to be a woman.”

He dipped his head and slid his lips back down her neck, over her collar bone and down to that oh, so sensitive place between the curves of her breasts. Here he paused and she held her breath, eyes shut tight, wondering if he was going to stop now. She prayed he wouldn’t.

She was not disappointed. An involuntary gasp escaped her lips as he slipped a warm tongue down her cleavage, sliding it between the orbs and teasing her soft flesh until her body screamed and she felt she would die from the sweet sensation. She grabbed the back of his head and pressed him into her, wanting more of the pleasure, more of the sweetness.

Author Interview with Ella Jade

The Lonely Dominant Tour.jpg

Hi All,

Hosted by Sizzling PR, today we have an interview with Ella Jade. She'll be talking about a number of things, mainly her book The Lonely Dominant.

Book Blurb:

Successful businessman Alec Carter realizes his life is less than fulfilled when he meets beautiful Princeton University senior Clara Whittaker at a local coffee shop. Alec experiments in the BDSM lifestyle but doesn't consider himself hardcore until he crosses paths with the obviously submissive Clara. The more time Alec spends with young Clara, the more his dominant tendencies push to the surface. She could be what has been missing.
After her grandmother's death, Clara ends up a guest in Alec's home until she can finish school. She quickly learns she's a natural submissive and decides she wants to explore this new side of herself with the man of house. Alec shows her a life she never knew existed as they enter into a world of role playing, fantasy, and desire. Alec may be the Master, but Clara holds the key to his heart.
As the semester comes to an end, so does their arrangement. If Alec doesn't admit his true feelings for Clara, she could walk out of his life forever. But, Alec isn’t sure which she craves more . . . his dominance . . . or his love.

On to the Interview:

Welcome Ella and thank  you so much for joining us today.
1. When did you officially pen your first book? Was it also BDSM?
My first book Jocelyn's Choice released in June. It couldn't have been further from a BDSM novel. It's a story of an 18 yr. old girl who finds herself pregnant and alone. Her boyfriend is offered a wonderful opportunity for an internship at Yale. She doesn't want to mess things up for him, so she opts not to tell him until he returns four months later. It's a coming of age love story that deals with some pretty real topics.
2. What Genre would you consider your writing style to be in?
I'm most Contemporary but as long as I'm telling a love story with characters you can connect with, I'm happy.
3. How many books have you written to date?
I have four books under my belt. My goal for 2012 is to have six more published.
4. The cover for The Lonely Dominate is very sexxy, did you come up with the design?
It is very hot. I didn't come up with it. Noble Romance cover artist Fiona Jayde gets all the credit. I adore it.
5. For this particular book, how did you come the setting or idea for the book? In other words why the lonely dominate?
I like to write about strong, take charge, dominant men, but I also want them to be loving and have a softer side. Alec is very domineering in the bedroom, but he has a big heart and I tried to bring that through in the story.
6. Can you give us a little background on Alec and Clara?
Alec is a workaholic. He throws himself into his business and doesn't have time for a traditional relationship. He liked dominate in the bedroom so he seeks out willing submissive partners. He never expects Clara to be one. Clara is down on her luck and homeless. She has one more semester of college to finish so Alec offers her a place to stay. Sparks fly!
7. What draws Alec and Clara together? The loniness, the BDSM or both?
They definitely serve to fulfill a need for one another. Clara is submissive and is intrigued my the BDSM lifestyle. She wants Alec to teach her. He's apprehensive because she's inexperienced, but the more time he spends with her the more captivated he becomes.
8. How off the  chart would the sex in The Lonely Dominate be?

It's not crazy. lol I do explore some BDSM themes but I wouldn't call this a hard-core D/s novel. It's a story about two people who have a common interest and they are exploring together. While some scenes take place in the playroom other intimate scenes occur in a more traditional sense as well.
9. When we can we expect your next book? And will it also be BDSM?
I have my first m/m releasing on 12/19. It's a contemporary m/m love story.
As for BDSM...after the first of the year I'm planning the second book in The Lonely Dominant series. It'll be Clara's side of the story. TLD is told from Alec's POV. so now I think it's time for Clara to have her say.
Random fun Questions:

1. Favorite genre & author?
Romance...Nora Roberts
 2. Any books your you’re reading at this time?
Sadly, my Kindle is lonely. I've released four books in less than six months. That doesn't leave time for much else, but I plan to catch up over the holidays.
3. favorite color?

 4. favorite time of the day?
Night...when the house is quiet.
5. coffee or tea?
Starbucks Iced Tea
Thanks again for stopping by my blog Ella!
Thanks so much for having me. I love to connect with readers and make new friends. You can find out what I'm up to at ellajadeauthor.blogspot.com.

Ella Jade has been writing for as long as she can remember. As a child, she often had a notebook and pen with her and now as an adult, the laptop is never far. The plots and dialogue have always played out in her head, but she never knew what to do with them. That all changed when she discovered the EBooks industry. She started penning novels at a rapid pace and now she can't be stopped.
Ella resides in New Jersey with her husband and two young boys. When she's not chasing after her kids, she's busy writing, kickboxing and scrapbooking. She hope's you'll get lost in her words.
