From Barnes & Noble:
They are here. They ride. The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
His name is Ares, and the fate of mankind rests on his powerful shoulders. If he falls to the forces of evil, the world falls too. As one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, he is far stronger than any mortal, but even he cannot fight his destiny forever. Not when his own brother plots against him.
Yet there is one last hope. Gifted in a way other humans can't-or won't-understand, Cara Thornhart is the key to both this Horseman's safety and his doom. But involving Cara will prove treacherous, even beyond the maddening, dangerous desire that seizes them the moment they meet. For staving off eternal darkness could have a staggering cost: Cara's life.

Oh I loved this story and I am sooooo looking forward to the rest of the books in this newest series by Larissa Ione.
Ares is the horseman War in this installment and he had a bad ass attitude, but he was also loving and caring man. He was all warrior and always ready for battle, but he was a fierce protector of his family. He allows very few to get close to him and when Cara enters his life in the mist of the upcoming apocalypse, he finds himself falling in love with her even though she is the key to stop him from becoming evil.
With Cara, I liked how she toughened up during the story and how she didn't take any shit from Ares.
All around, the story was good and the sex scenes were HOTTT (in my Paris Hilton voice)!

This one get 5 Black Orchids.

Lata Days....MUAH!
