My Review:

I'm huge fan of Anime and I thought this was a good series from studio Gonzo.

The Witchblade is only bestowed on women and what is it? From watching the series, this blade, which is in the form of a sort of wrist band, is a powerful weapon that all want. But the Witchblade itself seeks it own host and in the end devours their soul along with their body.

Masane Amaha who has no memory of her past finds herself in the middle of an on-going conflict between the Doji Group (a weapons manufacturer) who created the Witchblade and the NWSF (the child welfare agency) who has created the clone blade.

After the great quake hits Japan, Masane finds herself with this strange bracelet and is hired by the Doji Group to take out these killer type weapons they have made. She only takes the job because she has a daughter to support and she also wants to find out why the Witchblade has chosen her.

Like I said, you have two major players after the witchblade. Both seek the power that the blade holds. One for good and of course, the other for evil. And all caught on the middle is Masane, her daughter and it seems these other women who are actually created to where the clone blade.

There is seriously a lot going on in the 24 episodes of this series and everyone seems to have an issue
and they all are affected by the Witchblade. Masane in the end has to make a decision that will alter not just her life, but everyone that she has come to love and hold dear.

There was a lot of kick ass action, my only complaint was that Masane too way too long to learn how to use the Witchblade and it worked my nerves a little.

All and all, I rate it 4 Kisses. As I said, there is kick ass action and hell, it's a woman doing all the ass kicking.
