Well I saw Abraham the Vampire Hunter over the weekend and I have to say I enjoyed it. It was kind of cool to see one our Presidents's as a vampire slayer and I swear the dude that played the President (Benjamin Walker) played the role perfectly and he's a cutie!...
Young Abe sees his mother killed by a vampire and sets out of a mission to kill the vamp that did it along with taking a few others out along the way. There was a lot of action in this movie and I LOVED that. I liked the fact that they didn't leave out how he became President. There is a story within this movie and I like when that is done.
The vampires who are mostly in the South were feeding off of slaves and with the thought of freeing the said slaves, some thought once that was done...then the vampires would start moving more North and start feeding on whites. I thought it was a little far fetched, but it worked for this movie.
I haven't read the book, but I have a cool friend of mine in one the B&N stores is shipping it to me so I can read it. I love to compare the movie adaption of an book, I like to see how close or NOT so close the movie stayed with the book. If you haven't caught it and if this is your type of film, definitely go see it. Its worth the movie money.
