Waiting on Wedn2

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill over at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

Overview (B&N)
A richly-illustrated adaptation of Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire, told through the eyes of the vampire Claudia, who was just a little girl when she was turned by the vampire Lestat. Though she spends many years of happiness with her two vampire fathers, she gradually grows discontent with their insistence upon treating her like a little girl, even though she has lived as long as any mortal man...and her lust to kill is certainly no less than theirs...

love that this is from Claudia's POV and I love Anne Rice. It was her Vampire Chronicles & Mayfair Witches series that got me hooked on Vampires & Louisiana. When I worked the grave yard shift at the Airport "back in the day"...lol!, her books were the only thing kept me from falling asleep ;)

November is really a long ways from now....

  1. I want to see this too! The snippets she shares on her facebook are so beautiful plus it'll be told in Claudia's POV and we all know how cray-cray that child vamp is.

    TS WoW

  2. Exactly Braine..I remember reading the book & saying to myself oh! that kid is crazy & she is going to get them all killed..lol!

    thanks for stopping through ;)
