Series: Sinners on Tour #1

Book Blurb

Five stunning guys, one hot woman, and a feverish romance...

For him, life is all music and no play...

When Brian Sinclair, lead songwriter and guitarist of the hottest metal band on the scene, loses his creative spark, it will take nights of downright sinful passion to release his pent-up genius...

She's the one to call the tune...

When sexy psychologist Myrna Evans goes on tour with the Sinners, every boy in the band tries to seduce her. But Brian is the only one she wants to get her hands on...

Then the two lovers' wildly shocking behavior sparks the whole band to new heights of glory... and sin...

Sexxy's Thoughts

Backstage Pass was a sexy and funny read. I liked reading about the band The Sinners and their relationship with one another; I loved the fact that they protected one another the way they did.

I enjoyed Olivia Cunning's world building…I mean how on target is she with the groupies, the roadies and just the every day life of a Rock band or any band for that matter on Tour. It made for a hysterical read…I must have snorted a million times while reading this book. And the fact that these Sinners were imperfect just added to my reading pleasure, but they sure where all sexier than anything.

Now Brian and Myrna, I loved them. I loved the fact the Ms. Cunning created this sexually aware “adult” woman. She wasn't afraid to explore her body or Brian's for that matter. I just loved the fact that she was older than Brian and she wasn't this wilting virgin OR this man had to teach her some things, hell she taught him a few things or two.

Now I get Brian, but seriously dude…you’re a rock star. How many sincere woman are you going to come across while on tour? I mean to fall for almost every one you “banged”…uh, no man! WTH are you thinking?! I did love that he had this sweetness about him that you more than likely wouldn't find in most rock stars. I seriously just wanted to hug him to my chest and stroke his hair.

What I didn't like was this almost type of mistrust between these two. All this sexing with one another and not recognizing that you're in love until the end of the book was not fun to read through. Especially with Myr….I know, I know about her past relationship with her ex-husband, but seriously you’re a college professor! Psychology professor at that! Stop it! Brian I can see holding out, but he was just as worst as Myrna…especially since he wore his heart on his sleeve “literally”. It made the relationship in my opinion not real...something that they weren't even trying to work on throughout the story.

Besides that issue…for me Backstage Pass was smart, well written and more than enjoyable to read. It made me want to be a sinner…*snorts* who am I kidding...I'm already a sinner. I just need a backstage pass *weg*

What's In My Christmas Stocking #19

What's In My Christmas Stocking will be a weekly post about all the books & other goodies that I've bought, borrowed or won throughout the month of December!

EEEKKK! It's the last week of December, and my last Christmas Stocking haul. Wow, where in the world did December go? Time sure does fly :( But, I am so excited to be welcoming 2013 :) So, let's get on with my last haul of 2012!
*Click on covers to take you to Amazon*
*Note: Some books might not be free anymore, so check the price before you purchase!*

Other Goodies

Oh, yeah! I was at Walmart yesterday and saw this beauty...and of course I had to have it :) It's hanging on my closet door, and I'm not all too thrilled about that, but it'll have a new spot soon... er...someday lol. And it was only $5.00 yay me ^_^

Woooot! EEEK. BEAUTIFUL CREATURES!! lol. Since the day I seen the preview for the movie, I immediately added the book to my TBR Wish-List. I wanted to read the book before the movie, cause I can't, for the life of me, watch the movie then read the book. Seriously, my Game of Thrones book is sitting idly on my shelf and has only been read half way. Sad, but true. I watched the first season of GoT and was told to read the books, so I tried... and I just can't get through it. BUT, I got Beautiful Creatures from GoodWill *happy thrifting dancing* and I got it for $1.00 *more happy thrifting dancing*
And of course, I bought nail polish. 2 NYX girls glitter polish and one Santee glitter polish. I bought these from my local 98¢ Store for only $1.00 each. ^_^

That's it for my haul, my very last haul of 2012! Did y'all get anything awesome?
