Lady Jane wants Will, for her slave, and she'll pay a high price to get him. Will dreams of a life under Jane's spike heels, but in the future city-state of New York, it's illegal to enslave a free man. Jane, once a notorious hacker, now a network security consultant, isn't used to letting a little thing like the law keep her from getting what she wants. When a bound and naked Will is delivered to her kitchen door, she takes great pleasure in using leather cat and cuffs and cruel penetrating sex games to tame him. But Will must give up everything to prove his loyalty to her before he can take his rightful place forever kneeling at her perfect feet.

Sexxy's Thoughts

I wasn't immediately taken with I Want That One. I didn't care for the characters and the story line was somewhat confusing to me. My main issue is how Lady Jane treated Will throughout this story and then at the end, all is forgiven and they walk off into the Sunset?...not buying it.

I like the twist of the story. There is a female in charge...she's giving the pain and pleasure and (he) the male is the willing submissive. But the back forth between Jane and Will was a little too much for me. Sometimes he was submissive and then at times he was this strong willed man who wanted his freedom back.

All and all, this was an okay read for me. But don't let my opinion steer you away. This is a short, quick read with some enjoyable parts.

  1. I didn't like this as much too, I was excited to read a Dominatrix but the story isn't what I was expecting. The characters and situations are ironically dry regardless of the sex and the twist felt forced IMHO.

  2. Lol. Idk if it's me, but something is wrong with your rafflecopter :( -- anywho, great review girly. Love the honesty. I'm kinda liking the cover for this one. I'm always iffy on shorts, but hey, I won't knock it til' I try it, and I think I'll try this one :) Great post!

  3. thanks Ana...dang on rafflecopter *sigh*..its fixed. Keep forgetting that I have to add something for folks to do "follow me", etc. I wonder how you do a free entry?

Yeah, I'm starting not to like shorts that much. But they are a good balance between those long know.

  4. you're welcome :) -- lol you should do that. Hmm. just add "invent your own" and then change it so that it says "free entry"

ooh I know. I haven't really found any great shorts aside from one and it was pretty lengthy. But, I mean really short shorts lol... never am really satisfied with those.

  5. thank you my dear...I'll try it on my next Giveaway. Shorts really are a hit or miss aren't they? idk...I don't think I'll be reading many of them in the new year though

  6. you're welcome :)

they really are *sigh* but most of them are prequels for the first book in a series, so I do try and read them and then move on... >.<

  7. I don't mind them...sometimes I just have a bit of time and its nice to start and finish as long as its a good story and doesnt feel rushed.

  8. thank you Josie...I feel you on that one. You're right, if the story isn't rushed & the story is could be an enjoyable story :)
