Viktor, a first class impostor and the co-owner of the fearful institution, is ready to subject them to all kinds of painful reformations. Or?

The story of two star-crossed lovers soon picks up the pace when Viktor realizes that he is not entirely immune to Amédée's charms. And when High Demon Belial, the Prince of Trickery, the Lord of Lust and the Antilight, takes an interest in the innocent youths, events gather even more momentum. Are the mortals ready to walk and crawl the trails of love? And what effects will Belial's plays have on their destinies? Find out in this epic story about the lust for life and love.

Excerpt #3:
Biting his bottom lip to blood, he inwardly admitted longing after a memory. After the memory watching him silently every night from an old painting. The colors had darkened over the years and the canvas had acquired pitiful cracks, but the pale face hadn't lost anything of its allure and the moss green eyes seemed to be always on him.

A copy of the painting hung in every mansion of his. It was annoying to move every now and then before the humans grew too suspicious of a lord who almost didn't leave his manor and was rarely, if ever, seen. Never could he spend more than ten years in one place. And that meant he had to keep at least ten mansions all over the country to make sure he never returned before the last ones who remembered him died. It would be highly impractical to move whole his household every time and so all things remained in their rightful places, patiently waiting for his return. But some of them he needed to have everywhere. Like this painting.

His finger absentmindedly stroked its frame. Silken wood caressed his fingertip as he stared on the spot worn smooth by his digits. It had been so long...Sometimes he still tried to revive his memory and accusatory witnesses of unsuccessful attempts were silently mouldering away in the dungeons under his manors. Unknowing that they had failed the test. They always did. And his efforts to find Ferran's reincarnation were growing sporadic.

But now... Maker, it was so ridiculous to pin his hopes on a boy who he hadn't even seen in the first place. He had just heard his voice and something in its tone and melody had made him believe that perhaps he could...

No. It was time he had finally accepted that his love dreamed a long, long dream in the shade of an old walnut tree. Here in Cibinium he could at least visit him. The tree stood in his garden... but he rarely walked his gardens and never approached that... place. Soil and overgrown bushes wouldn't bring his lover any closer to him than he was right here, in the study. And the bones deep in the grave... they weren't him anyway. Swallowing hard, he turned away from the painting. He should have burned all memories long time back. But he couldn't will himself to destroy this one. Ever.

Reviews
“This book is a masterpiece, a written work of art that paints pictures more vivid that the brightest colors and will move your heart and soul with the beauty of the tale it tells. From the first page, the very first line, I was hooked by the innocent explorations of first passion by young lovers, and from that moment I journeyed with them through their emotional and sometimes painful search for lust and love. It was a mesmerizing and emotional experience for me as well, traveling with them through the joy, the pain, the sorrow, the loss, the ecstasy, the agony, the longing, the fulfillment, the laughter and the tears, the fits of rage and fits of passion when pain and pleasure are sometimes indistinguishable and only serve to drive the passion ever higher - this is the journey that awaits readers as they accompany these characters on the highest highs, the lowest lows, and every place conceivable in between, and it is a journey I will be making again and again as I reread Trails of Love I Crawl while "patiently" waiting for the next book in the series.”--Jade, Amazon reviewer

Ciaran Dwynvil, the bard of gay erotic fantasy, writes for... the characters. “I'm their happy scribe and their personal bard. When they come to me, their story is already there and they just need an author willing to listen in silent midnight hours, paint their life with words and then sing about it on pages of the books. That's what I do and what fills my days with joy.” This approach to writing resonates best with thoughtful readers for whom character emotions and plots are just as important, (if not more) as the erotic aspect of the stories. The lines in Ciaran's novels flow like verses in a minstrel's tales from the time long passed. Like stitches on a tapestry they create intricate images for those who dare to join the characters in the moments of bliss and in the moments of their darkest hours. Readers will get pulled in a complex fantasy world and will live through stories of faith, life, love and lust that will leave them aching for more. The narratives never use solely one character's point of view. Just like a tapestry doesn't rely just on one color, Ciaran's novels aren't told in one voice only. All heroes and villains speak on the pages and thus allow a reader to experience their story from multiple perspectives until a rich, complete vision fully emerges.
