Seduced is told from two different perspectives Nick & Simon the bands Oblivion founders. This is my second read of a rock band story and I have to say that I enjoyed it and I liked the idea of getting both sides…of how both of these members felt about theirselves, the band and its members.

We start with one of the band members, the drummer going off to rehab and now this band is without him and its founders are at a lost, at least one of them is anyway. They are also in a dry spell as Nick, the bands main writer is having something akin to writers block.

As I’ve said the most interesting thing about reading Seduced was getting both Nick’s & Simon’s thoughts. Their thoughts on the two new band members that enter into their lives and just the both of them dealing with everyday things mainly how to get Oblivion back to what they were before things started to fall apart.

I have to say that I wasn’t a fan of Nick’s while reading this story as he was a asshole with a capital A. How he dealt with the induction of Grayson (love that name) and Jazz into the band was just so childish at times, I wanted to smack him upside the head. But as the story went on, I started to like him a little better…I understood he was dealing with a multiple of things, but the way he handled them at times was short of stupid.

Simon was hysterical, but our lead singer is going through his own thing as well and there is definitely more to this guy than there seems to be. Simon I want to know more about...He was sort of the comic relief of the group as in he didn’t take himself that serious at times. He's also the one to give Nick the business when his assholeness got out of hand. Simon's drinking I think will turn into the major problem for the band though.

Deacon has become my new book dream boyfriend as I have a serious hard on for guitar bassists, plus to add he’s a sweetheart who is always trying to stop the rifts between Oblivion’s members and that body? Damn, I would love to get hold of that! Then there are our two newest members Grayson & Jazz. We get a smidgen of the relationship between these two and I’m dying to see where it goes as Seduced revolves around what seems to be something of a love-triangle between them and Nick.

I'm wondering who Jazz really wants to be with…me personally, I think her attraction to Nick is just a distraction from her real feelings for Grayson.

I think the Lost in Oblivion series is going to quite fun and sinfully delicious. Seduced gives us a peek into the sudden rise of a very magnetic group and I’m anxious to where Cari & Taryn takes them and us.

A lil extra something something....

  1. Hahaha! Well here's to hoping that the next book will be Nick's story, maybe the authors will shed him of his douchebaggery.

I'm not a big rock-romance fan, Olivia Cunning's books are still in my TBR. Maybe I will add this to my personal challenge of reading out of my comfort zone. I've conquered Sports romance, I'll try this sub genre next.

  2. it was a pretty interesting read. I thought Nick just needed some, but he got it & was still an ass soo.....lols. I'm not really a fan of love-triangle's as they're irritating to read, we'll see where this one goes though.

Deacon's story is next...woohoo! I'm definitely going to read that one.I like him ;)

I signed up for a sport challenge & still have't read one book yet. I have one to read...just didn't find it very interesting.

  3. I've been loving rockstar reads lately. And really liking the idea of getting both sides of the story. I love when authors do that and you can really get to know them both. Hadn't seen this one and now it's on the tbr list! Thanks Sharonda!

  4. Its totally cool & I find out that I like getting both perspectives, gives you so much more of the story.

I read a book by both authors earlier this year & loved them both, so I wan't too surprised that this one turned out good.

  5. I haven't read either yet so looking forward to it. I have one of Cari's on my review list. Maybe I should move that one up!

  6. No Romance Required. It looks pretty good. Just got it a couple days ago.

  7. I read Test Shot by her & OMG, it was good

  8. Glad you liked it!! I can't wait to read more about Deacon. I wanted to hit Nick a few times too :/

  9. Deacon did become my favorite...acutally so did Grayson. But man Nick? yeah smackfest right there...lols.

  10. I'm kind of curious about Grayson, but Deacon *drools*

  11. too. I really wanna know what the relationship between him in Jazz turns out to be. OMG gosh, I want Deacon in a sandwich...lols

  12. Yes! When she said his name I was like "oh my" I think Deacon's book is next *excited*

  13. gurl! I was ooo wow...she just went there.

yup Deacon's book is up next woot woot~
