BARED: Club Sin Tour/Giveaway

Wednesday, February 5, 2014

Today we have USA Today Bestselling Author, Stacey Kennedy. She’s an urban fantasy lover at heart, but she also enjoys losing herself in dark and sensual worlds. She lives in southwestern Ontario with her husband, who gave her a happily-ever-after. Together, they have two small children who can always make her smile, and who will never be allowed to read Mommy’s books. If she’s not plugging away at a new story, you’ll find her camping, curling up with the latest flick, or obsessing over Supernatural, True Blood, Lost Girl, and Sons of Anarchy.

In her newest release, BARED, we are introduced to the wonderfully erotic world of CLUB SIN. Today she’s letting us get to know the heroine from the second book in the CLUB SIN series with some insider information!

Let’s get to it!!
1. What is your heroine in BARED called?
Her name is Cora Adams.
2. Where is Cora from?
She was born and raised in Las Vegas. And she’s loved every minute of it. She enjoys the busy city and isn’t looking to leave anytime soon.
3. How old is Cora?
Cora is twenty-five-years old. To me, she’s always seemed so much older. She has a good head on her shoulders. While she does things that show her age and maybe always aren’t the best options for her, she has a real grace about her.
5. What does Cora look like?
Let’s let a Club Sin Master describe her. I think he does a much better job than I could.
Cora stood in her pajamas, appearing much younger than he’d ever seen her. In fact, she looked like the twenty-five-year-old she was. Lingerie and her sassy attitude always made her seem older. Sometimes he forgot he was eight years older than her. Plus, he hadn’t even seen Cora without dark, sexy makeup on, and she looked a lot more innocent. Her hair was completely disheveled, sticking up wildly.
Her eyes . . . those eyes that were the prettiest blue, widened. “Aidan?” She looked down to herself in her pajamas and then ran her hands over her hair. She lifted her head with rosy cheeks, and she blinked repeatedly. “Sorry, I just woke up.”
“Don’t be. I know I’m catching you by surprise.” He smiled, watching her try to reorganize herself. He liked that she worried what she looked like for him. In fact, he preferred her appearance now to when she was done up. “You look incredibly cute like this.”
“Perfect.” She rolled her eyes. “Isn’t that what every woman wants a Dom to say?” She shuddered. “Cute.”
6. What kind of childhood did Cora have?
Cora had a happy childhood. Both her parents are still living and she has an older sister who has three children. While she keeps her naughty lifestyle a secret, she is still incredibly close with her family.
7. What does Cora do for a living?
She works at the Las Vegas Wellness Clinic and is a social worker for teens. She loves her job and likes making a difference in young lives.
8. How does Cora deal with conflict and change?
Cora takes a lot on herself. In her job, she deals with other people’s problems, so she tries to stay away from drama. She keeps a lot to herself and doesn’t share her own feelings. What do they say? Those that help others are usually the ones that need the most help. That’s Cora. She’s too focused on everyone else than she is on herself.
9. Does Cora have a romantic interest in anyone?
Cora is in love with Club Sin Master, Aidan Knight that she has played with for two years. She understands him—maybe more than anyone else—because she sees his personal demons that he’s fighting. While she holds out hope that he might eventually free himself from his pain, she also knows that she can’t love him forever if he won’t love her back in the way she deserves.
10. What was your favorite thing about Cora?
Cora is one of those women that I would love to know. She has a fun personality that would constantly make me laugh, but she also has her stuff together. She knows what she wants and she knows how to get it.
I think what touched me the most about Cora was how deeply she loves. That’s something to be respected. I would imagine if you were friends with Cora it would take a lot for her to turn her back on you. And everyone needs a friend like that!!

Thank you so much for letting me stop by today and share a little bit about Cora from BARED. I fell in love with her while writing her and Aidan’s story, and I hope you do, too!

Prepare to be BARED…

“A hot blend of raw sensuality, this is an author to watch!”
~Eden Bradley, author of THE DARK GARDEN and DANGEROUSLY BOUND

In a novel that’s perfect for fans of Fifty Shades of Grey, Stacey Kennedy returns to Club Sin with another wicked and wild tale of submission, seduction, and love.

At Las Vegas’s exclusive Club Sin, Aidan Knight is the Master, unleashing the erotic yearnings of his submissive lovers. But his dominant façade conceals a devastating loss—something he instantly recognizes in his personally trained submissive Cora Adams. Sworn to unearth her secrets, Aidan uses his seductive skills to ignite her wildest desires until Cora yields to the pleasure she can find only with him.

Cora came to the BDSM club to act out her sub-and-dom fantasies without ever revealing the heartbreak that haunts her. But Aidan’s masterful touch is bringing her closer to the edge . . . and deeper into a world of control and surrender. He refuses to allow her to submit to any other man—nor does she want to. It’s a dangerous game they’re playing. For as they give in to passion, they must lay bare their souls for a love that could heal—and free—them both.

Bared is an erotic romance intended for mature audiences.

“Claimed sucked me in! Stacey Kennedy weaves together the intense BDSM lifestyle with the soft touch of a sweeter, more traditional love story in a novel with an engaging heroine at its heart.”—J. Kenner, New York Times bestselling author of Release Me

A novel of erotic discovery and forbidden desire that goes beyond Fifty Shades of Grey.

Presley Flynn is ripe to experience her secret fantasies . . . and Dmitri Pratt wants nothing more than to fulfill them. Once inside the elite Club Sin in Las Vegas, Presley is nervous but excited—and determined to surrender to her every desire. Dmitri is her Master, and his touch is like fire. With each careful, calculated caress, he unleashes her wildest inhibitions, giving her unimagined pleasure.

Presley is different than the other submissives Dmitri has mastered. The BDSM lifestyle is new to her, and so are the games they play at Club Sin. From the start, Presley stirs emotions in Dmitri far beyond the raw purity between a dom and the perfect sub. For the ecstasy they share goes beyond the dungeon, igniting a passion that claims the very depths of the heart.

  1. Arg. I still need to read these. On my tablet the other one sits. Might have to be one of my Feb fun reads.

  2. Stacey is one of my favorite authors, but I haven't read one of her non-paranormals yet. These look pretty hot.

  3. I just requested this one throug Netgalley. The heroine is already a sub and I like that idea.the first one, the heroine didn't have much experience and those type of stories I'm so over right now.

  4. I have to step away from a story trope for a while sometimes too b/c yeah, the inexperienced heroine and very experienced hero is popular. Hope this one is really good for you.
