I did okay. I still have a pretty good balance left for February. I've been racking up on a lot of Freebies and stopping by NetGalley & Edelweiss occasionally. I also been getting some pretty good review requests as well (I'll save those for my montly wrap-up).

So all and all...not bad.

How are you coming along?

  5. Control? I did so well in January, but now I see sales all over the place for books I want and I've caved half the time. I love Marie Hall's books. I've read half the Kingdom books out of order and I have others on my pile. I decided that I wouldn't buy this one until I finished those others. LOL We'll see how that works for an incentive.

  7. I get those emails too. I've had a couple people ask me how I know about the freebies and I'm not sure letting them know about the daily deal type emails is a kindness or a curse. But I promised to provide the info in my next monthly summary.

  8. I hear you...sometimes you get them 2 to 3 times a day. I think thats cool, at least with the monthly post, folks can make the decision if they want to get "all" those emails.

  9. You're right... ultimately, their decision. ;)
