In A Small Town Secrets Are Kept and Then They Kill

Helen Makris tried to make a new life for herself in Tarrytown, Maine where she expected to quietly live out the rest of her days pursuing her passion of photography. She never expected to attract the attentions of Colonel Kevin Smith or those of The Shaw Street Strangler a serial killer hunting the young women of the picturesque New England village.

Two Second-Chance lovers both with painful pasts, Helen and Kevin grow closer as the bodies pile up until suspicion forms around Helen's new lover and his noticeable absences from town. As The Strangler zeroes in on Helen Kevin is determined not only to prove his innocence but to keep her from becoming The Shaw Street Stranger's next victim.

Come along for a spine tingling ride that descends deep into the diseased mind of a serial killer. This chilling suspenseful thriller will have you on the edge of your seat to the very last word.

Mary Sue, she'd been a mistake and he knew it. Eddie had one major rule in his life and he did his best to follow it to the letter day-in and day-out; Don't Shit Where You Eat. She was the last of what was certainly one of the last generations of Tarrytown, she was a delightful girl, an honor student, a cheerleader, an after-school volunteer who sang in the church choir all while holding down a job at Martha's Diner. In other words, everyone loved her. But Eddie just couldn't resist her, she was so much like a young Fair Lady Helen with her red hair, freckles, and her little cheerleader uniform. Eddie loved that picture of the Fair Lady on her mantle and often considered stealing it but knew she wouldn't consider that a trivial loss, not something she could easily tell herself she'd misplaced. Still, Eddie spent a lot of nights in the old mansion thinking about that photo as he jacked off with the Fair Lady's silky red panties wrapped around his swollen cock.
When Fate dropped Mary Sue in his lap he took it as a sign and then he took her. She was freezin' her cute little buns off walking home from cheerleading practice when he just did what he always did; pulled alongside and asked if she wanted a ride. Mary Sue knew him from around town so why shouldn't she say 'yes', and she did. She climbed right in next to him, shut the door, and held her hands out to the blaring heater. Eddie offered her a nice cup of hot chocolate from his thermos and she accepted with a grateful smile. Three minutes later she was out like a light, snoozing and snoring in the seat next to him as Eddie drove down the road with one hand on the wheel and the other cupping her tender young breast.
Mary Sue was just a little thing; throwing her over his shoulder and humping her up the steps was easier than carrying a sleeping baby. About as pleasant, too. Girl over one shoulder and pom-poms in his hand he took her to the attic and laid her down on his bed with its crusty sheets that once were white but they hadn't seen that shade in many a moon. As he recalls, Eddie even smoothed out that sexy little cheerleader skirt of hers, the one that barely covered her firm ass, so she'd be more comfortable and look her prettiest.
She did look pretty as a princess as he sat there staring at her, petting her, pawing at her, and letting his mind wander off to the dark places only men really know. Lost in his wicked thoughts and listening to the voice whisper in his ear, Eddie started stroking off and that was when she woke up and started screaming. But that was nothing new, all the women he brought back here woke up screaming. Eddie let her go on and get it all out knowing that no one was going to hear her. Hell he could strike up a full marching band here in the attic and the people, what few there were, down on Shaw Street would never even know it.
Just like they didn't know he was here.
That was the way Eddie liked it. Nice. Quiet. Peaceful. Someplace he could do his business and not be disturbed. The woods were okay but cold. His car would be okay if it weren't so goddamn small.
"You go on, girl, you scream, no one's gonna hear you," Eddie said in a soothing voice as he reached out to trace his palm along the curve of her face. The little queenie had the nerve to bite him! Out of instinct, he gave her a good one across the face with the back of his hand before holding it up to his face to inspect the teeth marks and blood dripping down his arm. "Don't do that again, girl. I don't wanna have'ta hurt'cha. You mind your manners, now." The wound isn't too bad but she did get a nice chunk of his flesh. "Be a good girl, Helen. Be a good girl."
"Helen? Who's Helen?" Mary Sue asks her wide eyes darting about the room in terror taking in all of the pictures around her. They're on every wall and even over the bed. "My name is Mary."
"You hush now, Helen, it's gonna be all right." Eddie smiled for the frightened teenager showing her uneven rotten teeth that made her cringe. His wounded hand lands on her knee and a trickle of blood runs over the side of her trembling leg. "I like this little uniform of yours. Very…attractive." His hand wanders up her knee cap to her thigh and stops just shy of the tight panties below the mini-skirt. "Why don't you get up and do a little cheer for me, huh? What do you say, Helen? Let's get this party started."

I'm 47 years-old and I've been married to wonderful and talented husband, Roy, for the last 27 years. Together we've raised two beautiful daughters to adulthood right here in my hometown of New London, CT.

Through my full-length novels and series I strive to bring conflict, passion, love, and suspense to unique couples--how about a Greek God and a Fey, a retiring military man and an aging widowed hippie, a famous writer/director and a lonely hitch-hiker, or a b-grade actor and a very lucky first-time author? Since I'm never one to shy away from the less pleasant things in life, indeed I believe that it is in the Darkness where Character is created, determined, and defined, my heroes and heroines have their love tested by demons from within and without.

ALL of my works are intended for a Mature Audience Only this includes most of my non-fiction books. They are intended for those who like their reading on the dark and gritty side. They are not intended for the faint of heart or those who enjoy a sweet read.
