Review: Beauty and the Earl by Jess Michaels

Source: Provided by Author
Format: eBook (Mobi)
Published: April 15, 2014
Author: Jess Michaels
Samhain Publishing
Series: The Pleasure Wars #3
Sex: R - Strong Sexual Content
Genre: Erotic Historical Romance

This really was a good historical romance story. I was completely taken with both Liam and Violet...especially Violet though. You could feel her inner struggles as she fought her ever growing feelings for Liam and doing what she was paid to do, which was spy on Liam for his sister.

Beauty and the Earl is the third book in Jess Michael's Pleasure Wars series, but I didn't feel lost with the story line here. So I'm guessing that you can read the series out of order, BUT if you want to know more about Liam & his sister's falling out, then it would be best to read book one.

To give you a taste without giving too much away. Violet, a well known courtesan is hired by Liam's sister Ava to spy on see how he is doing. She fears the worst for her brother and …

So Sick. I have two versions of this title that I love...enjoy em'.

Neyo's So Sick. A R&B, slightly poppy tune. Good he/she gone and get over em song too.

Flyleaf's So Sick. All kinds of rock out, thump your head back and forth kinda tune. Plus this chick's deep voicing it in the beginning gives me chills.

So what have you been listening to this week? Anything good? link up and share ;O

Laura Kaye's EAST OF ECSTASY Release Day Launch

Happy Tuesday!...well, maybe happy. But at least there is a new release out...You all know L. Kaye's Heart of Anemoi series, righ? well, the latest is out.

By Laura Kaye

You guys! I can’t believe release day for East of Ecstasy is finally here! This is the final book in my Hearts of the Anemoi series, which includes: North of Need, West of Want, and South of Surrender. The Anemoi were wind gods the Greek associated with controlling the wind, weather, and seasons. In East of Ecstasy, hero Devlin Eston is the heir to the East Wind which has long been associated with unluckiness, misfortune, and, thanks to Devlin’s father, even evil. Devlin himself has been the victim of father’s evil, and thereby finds himself an outcast among his own divine family. In this scene, heroine Annalise Fallston—who gets visions that she’s forced to paint in order to quiet them in her mind—sees Devlin for the first time. Here’s what she says:

Forcing the chaos in her mind away, Anna dipped her brush into the…
