Bought, Borrowed & Bagged #2

Sunday, August 24, 2014

BB&B (Bought, Borrowed & Bagged) is a weekly meme, inspired by The Story Siren and Pop Culture Junkie, where we share with you the books that we have bought, borrowed or bagged (won or gifted) plus a recap of the previous week's review, upcoming reviews, on going events and book movie or television news.

BB&B is an homage Barron's Books & Baubles from Karen Marie Moning's smash hit series, Fever.

Well, I brought very few this week and it added to a total of  $6.40 (my book budget is thanking me right now...). AND thank you so much to S.C. Ellington and her publisher for granting me access to her latest. I was getting denied left and right through NetGalley..whatever! So thank you Ms. Ellington for letting me read your work, it is so much appreciated! And Netgalley, question? can you please list more interracial-multicultural romances? yeah...thank you (sarcasm voice...) for now, I will stick to buying my own.

Okay so I bought a few things! Yaaay. lol. Some book related, some not... but here goes :)

Ahh. Most of you know I started school this week. This wacky picture is all my supplies. *wipes brow*
  • German book: $130.00
  • Art Supplies: $175.00
  • Speech webtext: $50.00
  • PoliSci webtext: $50.00
    Total Damage: $405.00

Ahhh! fun stuff! lol. I just bought this today and have yet to use it, but I've seen it floating around for some time now and thought I'd buy it (why not?) I had the extra cash. It was quite pricey tho. $15.00 for the set. Which is actually better than paying $10.00/bottle

Okay, so if there is one movie I (Sharonda) want to see this year, it will be Fury. Like, seriously...Brad Pitt and um, Shai LaBeouf. #comeonnow

We don't know yet, but for sure two book reviews and one movie/tv show review :)

Thanks for stopping by our BB&B! Make sure to link up at Talk Supe and if you participated feel free to leave your link in the comment section below xoxo.

And as always check the prices before you click!

  1. Nice little haul ladies. And damn that textbook was expensive :/

  2. You've picked up some great reads! Hope you enjoy them!
School supplies are so expensive! Have fun though!

Thanx for visiting My Weekly Wrap-Up!
    Naomi @ Nomi’s Paranormal Palace

  3. Thanks Melissa :), right? I remember buying books and just thinking I can't wait for school to be over, lols.

  4. Thanks for stopping thru Naomi :) i intend to enjoy all these babies. Lols, Idk how Ana feels about her textbooks though :)

  5. I get rejects many times from NG, Sharonda and I figure its b/c they met their quota since they are definitely the types I regularly read and review. If I notice an inter-racial, I'll shoot you a message b/c you're right, they're not regular review books.

I enjoyed Gabrielle Bisset's series, but still need to read the latest one. Fury does sound good.

  6. I know...I was just venting, lols...sorry. I was feeling some kind of way because of it, but I'm over it now :D

thanks Sophia, that would be so much appreciated. I think I read book 1 in G. Bisset series...another one I need to catch up on *sigh*, but I hear its pretty good.

  7. LOL! Vent away, doll! I feel better when I do and its so frustrating not to get picked for a review book that sounds interesting. Grrrr!

  8. Thanks :) it was totally frustrating. .I was what the hey? ...exactly, the only ones I'm interested in and I kept getting a big ol no, ah well, maybe next time :D

  9. That metal book cover is gnarly :D

College textbooks are so, so, so stupid expensive. I've seen some schools that put that information in their financial aid packages. *shakes her head*

I bought the Sally Miracle stuff too. Here are my nails after like 5 days, this is UNHEARD of for my polish to go this long without chipping. I'm in love.

  10. I love your nails Drea ! That design is rocking
