My Review

I enjoyed this, it was good blend of romance and suspsense. Noah has been fighting his demons for a long while but he's getting better. The women and the booze have stopped completely, all he does is work now. He still mourns Lana...his high school sweetheart who went missing years ago along with the David, the son of the town's richest family. Drowning himself in work, Noah tries to forget but can't.

In comes Trinity Ewing, moving in from New York to Madison. Trinity wants to start over, leave her past life and her ex-husband back in the city. Madison seems like a good place to start over. Two things though: One, the gorgeous contractor who is fixing up her fixer-upper. Two, the dead body that turns up in the house she now owns.

As Noah and Trinity grow closer, just when they both think they can leave the past exactly where it should be, they both find out that there is a lot going on the this small town of Madison. There are many secrets as well...deep and very dark secrets. Some things should stay hidden, but they don't. Secrets usually have a way of coming to light and the secrets in Madison are just starting to spill out.

I will say the suspense part of this story grab me, more than the romamce (although I enjoyed that part too...). It was very compelling and I liked th whole ghost story type feel to of the story. It blended well with the romance as well as neither one really took over too much of the tale, Deeper Than Need truly was a perfect blend of both. Noah and Trinity felt right together as a couple, I dug that they kinda stumble their way to each other. It was all awkard with all this sexual tension, very real like you know? They had some help with Trinity's son Micah who was a great addition to the story.

All and all, I enjoyed this one. I've read a couple of Ms. Walkers works before and liked them enough but I have to say that she can spin quite the tale with romance and suspense. A good recommedation here at Brazen Babe Reviews.
