Eh, I wanted to like TWBM but this was an okay read for me.

The gist of this story? Lina who is a wedding planner has to work with the man who indirectly stopped her wedding from happening in order to land a job that will change her business...literally.

Mostly ya'll, Lina annoyed my whole soul, lols. Listen, I get she was pissed at the fact that Max had his hand... and probably feet in ruining what would have been one of the best days of her life, I get it...I do. But why not at some point during this read have Lina confront the man who left her at the alter? his damn brother? I mean its not like she could not have and that little conversation they had towards the end? 😒.
Max kept apologizing and Lina kept being petty even though she kept telling us she wasn't a petty person. Uhm ma' were.

Honestly, I got a bit bored before the ending and was over Lina and Max. Also, I didn't get romance between these two. Maybe more of good friendship type of feelings but definitely not a romance. Also, this is another story where the sex scenes were just... unromantic.

The plus: the author adding Brazilian culture/language and also the humorous moments throughout the story. These are the only reasons I'm even rating TWBM three stars.

All and all, I think The Worst Best Man is a good comedy. Romance? not so much.
